At RK Air, we’ve been helping out with community support this month. Green Corridor is a local charity based near Heathrow that helps disadvantaged young people. Its aim is to train them to achieve a land-based qualification in horticulture or conservation. The charity’s motto is ‘Dig. Plant. Grow. Achieve.’
So our team got stuck right in by preparing a large area of land to allow additional raised planting beds to be installed. These will be used by the young people to grow their own produce. It’s an excellent and sustainable project.
But we didn’t stop there. The enthusiastic members of the RK Air team set about rejuvenating the garden area by installing decking, bird-boxes and bat-boxes.
RK Air was not alone in this endeavour: plant and equipment to complete the works were kindly donated by P Flannery Plant Hire and The Shannon Group. Our sincere thanks to these supportive business partners for helping our community mission.
