Another project at the Eastern Balancing Reservoir involving complex installation and welding of a number of steel fittings and grates within the camp 4 pumping station. Having been fabricated off-site, the steelwork had to be lifted in and installed in stages using a crane. You can see the scale of these grates from one of our images above. Where the grates were being installed over the reservoir itself, we utilised a floating pontoon to give the operatives a safe working space to complete this quality installation.
